Minimum Growing Temperature for Ficus Trees

Many trees in the genus Ficus are cold hardy only in USDA zones 10 and 11, where average annual minimum temperatures only reach about 30 degrees Fahrenheit. The common fig (Ficus carica) is hardy to zone 7 and the creeping fig (Ficus pumila) is hardy to zone 8.
