The Jack-Be-Little produces small, palm-sized pumpkins, useful for crafting. Feed Jack-Be-Littles 10-10-10 fertilizer, recommends Gurney's Seed and Nursery Company of Greendale, Indiana, and rest the growing pumpkins on straw or a piece of cardboard. The University of Maryland Extension recommends also feeding pumpkins with compost.
