Which Will Grow Faster, a Plant With Water or a Plant With Rubbing Alcohol?

Plants grow faster when irrigated with water. Isopropyl alcohol, also called rubbing alcohol, poisons and eventually kills plants. Gardeners often mix the flammable liquid with water and apply it carefully to the leaves of some plants to kill pests such as aphids or ants.
