Will a Weed Killed With Bleach Grow Again?

Bleach may be used to kill weeds, though the Colorado State University Extension Service cautions that it will raise the soil pH and add sodium to the soil. If the roots survive, the weed may come back. Perennial weeds and those with extensive root systems are especially likely to return.
