Trumpet vines are grown from seeds. In Northern Minnesota, place seeds, plant, or cuttings directly into moist soil after all danger of frost has past and the earth has warmed up. Seeds need to be planted one quarter-inch deep. Vines can also be grown by cutting off suckers and replanting them.
