What is the Custom Planting Rate for Beans?

Normal planting rates for beans are 2 to 3 inches apart for bush-type beans and 4 to 6 inches apart for pole-type beans. It takes 100 to 150 bush beans or 50 to 75 pole beans to seed a 25-foot row. Plant the rows 18 to 36 inches apart depending on the size of the bean plant.
