Can Plants Grow Without Trace Minerals?

There are 13 different minerals needed by plants in order to grow. If these minerals are not in the soil, they will have to be added so the plant will not die. Minerals can be added by fertilizing or placing organic matter such as leaves and grass clippings in the garden.
