The redbud (Cercis canadensis) is a fast-growing tree, ultimately reaching 10 to 20 feet tall. It is a relatively short-lived tree, however, only surviving about 15 years in urban landscapes. You should expect your redbud tree to reach a mature height in five to 10 years.
