Will Cedar Trees Grow Their Limbs Back After Cutting?

An incorrectly pruned cedar limb will not grow back. Prune cedars before their new growth appears in the spring. Cedar branches naturally drop their old foliage. Pruning the new growth as well results in bare branches that won't regenerate the new foliage tissue and will probably die.
