Is Watering Your Plants With Milk Good for Them?

Horticultural experts do not recommend watering plants with milk. While the protein and calcium in milk may help some plants grow, the potential negative effects outweigh this possibility. The extra sugars in the soil can interfere with the plant's ability to absorb water, and excess milk sediments that remain in the soil can cause rot or mold.
