When Do You Plant Camelia Seeds in Eastern Virginia?

Gardeners in eastern Virginia should gather new seeds from existing plants and plant them in the early fall. Crack the hardened seed coats, or soak the seeds in water for 12 hours to soften them. Plant them in damp soil, peat moss or a sand and peat moss mix.
