What to Do If Valencia Orange Tree Leaves Are Wilting

Valencia orange trees starving for water, or receiving too much water, will display wilted leaves. Cut back watering to once every week or increase the amount of water if needed. Sooty canker is a fungus entering the tree through a wound, eventually spreading through the tree, which can cause foliage to wilt and kill it. Prune away infected sections and spray the tree with copper.
