Can You Plant Bermuda Grass Seed on Sand?

Bermuda grass will grow in sandy soil, but it will not grow as thick or as quickly. It prefers either a loam or clay soil. If you want to grow Bermuda grass in sandy soil, make sure to plant it in an area that receives sun most of the day. This will give it the best chance of survival.
