Minimum temperature requirements for indoor tropical foliage plants vary by species, but they generally do best in daytime temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Farenheit and nighttime temperatures between 60 and 68 degrees. Flowering indoor tropical plants thrive in night temperatures slightly cooler, between 55 and 60 degrees.
