When do I plant Asiatic lilies in Alabama?

Plant lily bulbs in the spring or fall. Lilies never go totally dormant and cannot survive drying out. Plant bulbs about two to three times deeper than the bulb's height. Grown from seed, lilies can take up to four years to bloom.
