Is Grass Seed I Bought Last Year Still Good?

Most grass seeds will last about two years if stored at room temperature, according to NC State University College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. So, last year's seed should still be good. The germination rate may be lower. Orchardgrass and tall fescue seed only lasts one year.
