How Often Should Shrubs Be Watered in Texas?

The amount of watering a shrub needs depends on the type of shrub. Some bushes, such as Chinese Photinia and Nandina, need only occasional watering. Most varieties, however, require regular watering. During the summer months, many need daily watering while in the winter months, once a week should be sufficient.
