Garden and houseplants growing indoors prefer a temperature of 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit during daylight hours and 60 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit during the nighttime hours. Some plant varieties may require dropping to a temperature of 55 degrees for blossom formation.
