When to Transplant Citrus Trees in North Florida

Young citrus trees should be planted in North Florida after all danger of frost has passed. A perfect time for these young trees is in March during the spring. Older citrus trees will thrive when they are transplanted in the fall, a few months before the hot temperatures of summer arrives.
