Is the West African Raffia Palm Tree Used for Palm Wine?

West African Raffia Palm Trees' are one of the few non-endangered palm trees in Africa. Once fully grown, the leaves of the Raffia Palm Tree provide great construction material, most often for roofs, because of their durability. The inflorescence of the palm tree is then used in the production of palm wine.
