Organic soil provides the perfect balance of nutrition for plants. The formula for organic soil consists of five-parts. Mix four-parts seed meal, 1/4 part ordinary agricultural lime, 1/4 part gypsum, and 1/2 part dolomitic lime. You can substitute 1/4 part gypsum for a 1/4 part ordinary agricultural lime, if gypsum is too costly.
