Does a Plant Grow Faster in Natural Light or Artificial Light?

Plants grow best in natural sunlight. In areas lacking natural light, artificial light substitutes well, but does not deliver the full quality and quantity of light found in sunlight. Artificial light supplies the necessary wavelengths, but the intensity of natural sunlight is impossible to match.
