Do Autumn Purple Ash Trees Grow Well in Central Texas?

'Autumn Purple ' is a white ash (Fraxinus americana) cultivar. White ash is native to the woods, stream banks and pastures of east Texas, where it thrives in deep, moist soil. Growing no further west than Brazos County, white ash isn't found in central Texas.
