Should I Cut My Dwarf Banana Pups?

You should cut pups off of dwarf banana plants for propagation purposes and to limit the growth of the mat. Allow one or two replacement stalks to remain in the mat and remove or destroy all others. Too many pups crowd out the producing stalk and limit fruiting.
