The EarthBox Container Gardening System holds 2.0 cubic feet of peat moss-based growing media. The EarthBox is 29 inches long, 13.5 inches wide and 11 inches high. Soil is not usually used in EarthBoxes because soil doesn't have the wicking properties that are needed to deliver the water from the reservoir to the plant roots.
