How Far Apart Do Bean Plants Need to Be?

Bean seeds need to be planted 3 inches apart, about 1 inch deep, in single or double rows. For a longer harvest, plant beans successively, three to four weeks apart, otherwise, they will all yield at once, over a period of a few weeks.
