Where to Grow Annabelle Hydrangeas

The Annabelle hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens "Annabelle") will grow in full sun in northern areas of the country, but does best when provided with either afternoon shade or dappled shade when grown in the south. The shrub is hardy in horticultural zones 3 through 8.
