Is it Feasible to Grow California White Sage in Oklahoma?

California white sage grows on dry, well-drained Golden State slopes where summer drought is common. Oklahoma has dry summers and many areas with suitable soil with good drainage. Large expanses of clay soil through the north, central and southwestern state would be too heavy for the plant unless amended.
