When to Plant October Maple Trees?

October maple trees, also know as October Glory, should be planted after all frosts and before the heat of summer. Mid-spring is the best time to plant these trees. This allows the roots to become established before winter. This tree prefers moist, but well drained, loamy soil, and a location with little wind.
