The oakleaf hydrangea, Hydrangea quercifolia, normally grows to be approximately 6 to 8 feet tall, but can reach up to 12 feet. The plant tends to be wider than tall, with a spread of about 8 feet when mature. The large white flowers are 6 to 12 inches across.
