Also known as tiger lily or tawny daylily, ditch lily (Hemerocallis fulva) came to America with European colonists. Having escaped cultivation, it populates roadside ditches. Standing 24 to 30 inches high and wide, ditch lily has tawny orange, July and August blooms.
