When & Where Should I Prune My Lucky Indoor Bamboo?

Pruning lucky bamboo (Dracaena sanderana) is required when plants need shaping, grow too tall or begin to look messy. Use a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears and make a cut about 1 inch above the stem ring. Seal the cut end in three days with wax to prevent future growth from that area, if desired.
