Tomatoes grow well in all sorts of containers, even in a wheel barrow, as long as their basic needs are met. Place the wheel barrow in a sunny area. Drill some holes in the bottom to give the plants drainage. Choose a cascading-type tomato plant that does not require staking or caging, such as Patio Hybrid tomatoes.
