Do Tomato Plants Need to Be Planted With Epsom Salt?

Tomatoes do not need to be planted witih epsom salt. Epsom salt contains magnesium, which is a nutrient tomatoes need. But the Clemson Extension recommends not applying it unless a recent soil test shows a deficiency in magnesium.
