Do White Spruce Trees Grow Naturally in Colorado?

White spruce trees (Picea glauca) do not grow naturally in Colorado. These trees are found throughout Canada, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin and the Northeast corner of the United States. Blue spruce (Picea pungens), however, grows natively in Colorado.
