How Long to Germinate Eggplant?

Eggplant germination, the process of sprouting from seeds, takes from seven to 14 days. Germination rates vary depending on the amount of moisture, light and heat a seed receives, as well as the age of the seed. Older seeds take longer to germinate or may not germinate at all.
