The number of tomatoes that can be harvested from one plant depends on several factors, including the type of tomato plant, the length of the growing season, the weather and the area where your tomato is planted. A large beefsteak tomato plant may only produce three to four tomatoes. However, a small cherry tomato plant may produce as many as 10 to 20 tomatoes per plant.
