Must You Wait Until Fall to Plant Flower Bulbs?

Flower bulbs that bloom in the springtime must be planted from fall to early winter. Bulbs need long periods in the cool ground in order for their flowers to develop and grow properly. But the bulbs of flowers that bloom in the early to late summer can be planted in early spring.
