How to Make a Pineapple Centerpiece

Overview

Decorate your table with a pineapple centerpiece, which is symbolic of hospitality. This type of centerpiece not only works for the holidays but also can adorn your table throughout the year. With a bit of preparation, you can add a beautiful and fresh addition to your table. By integrating scented candles, the pineapple centerpiece will also add a fragrant aroma while entertaining.

Step 1

Cut out three paper ovals from paper. This will serve as a stencil when carving the pineapple windows. Do not cut the windows too large so that you do not compromise the structure of the pineapple.

Step 2

Stencil the carving area on the pineapple with a marker. Try to make the cutting areas uniform.

Step 3

Carve the pineapple along the stenciled area. Scoop out the fruit on the inside.

Step 4

Insert foam into the center of the pineapple and insert a scented votive candle.

Step 5

Sit the centerpiece on a plate or cake stand and place in the center of the table.
