What Does Propagated Vegetatively Mean?

Propagating a plant vegetatively is a way to clone a plant using asexual means. The mother plant gives up a stem tip or leaf which is then planted so it can grow roots. The daughter plants are copies of the mother plant and preserve desirable attributes like leaf color, fast growth or fruit yield.
