After you have harvested your apples, there are countless recipes you can utilize. You can use the apples to make a delicious dessert that your children, too, are sure to love. In fact, you can even get your kids to help you make it. Caramel apple salad contains several ingredients, but the main ingredient after the apple is butterscotch pudding. This dessert needs to be served chilled, so make sure you prepare it ahead of time.
Place 1 1/2 cups whipped cream, 6 oz. crushed pineapples, 2 oz. pineapple juice and 2 oz. apple juice in a large bowl.
Stir the ingredients with a wooden spoon until well combined.
Add 4 oz. butterscotch pudding mix, 3 1/2 cups chopped apples, 1/2 cup chopped peanuts and 1/2 cup mini marshmallows to the large bowl.
Stir again with the wooden spoon until the ingredients are combined.
Spoon in to individual serving dishes and cover with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
