Tiny Tim Tomatoes
Tiny Tim is a variety of a dwarf tomato plant that is ideal for container planting. This tomato plant grows approximately 1-inch cherry red tomatoes. Tiny Tim's fruit harvests in about 45 days and grows well in full sun. This plant can tolerate cool spring temperatures and can therefore be planted in early spring. Water the plant heavily, trying to avoid the leaves of the plant, and then allow soil to dry a day before watering again.
Mint is an easy-to-grow herb that is best planted in a container to keep it from taking over the rest of the garden. It comes in many varieties like spearmint, peppermint, orange peppermint, pineapple peppermint and chocolate peppermint. This plant is great in teas and to flavor recipes. Mint flowers with pretty white buds and needs around 1 to 2 inches of water weekly. Mint grows great in partial shade and likes cool, damp environments.
Miniature roses are available in a wide selection of colors and grow to be 6 to 18 inches tall. Their blooms are only 1 to 1 ½ inches across and come in single or double varieties. They can withstand harsh winters and are a very hardy plant. Miniature roses can be planted in a garden or grown in a pot. They need good soil, regular watering, sun and routine pruning.
