You may have several reasons why want to kill grass. You might have grass growing up through cracks in your driveway or into your landscaping. Or, you are planning to renovate your lawn, and need to be rid of the current one. Whatever the reason, there are several ways to kill grass. Which one you choose will depend on what other plants you have growing nearby.
Pour apple cider vinegar into a spray container and add several drops of liquid soap. The acid in the vinegar will kill the grass. The soap will help it stick to the grass until the blades have time to absorb it.
Put the lid on the sprayer and shake it up to mix it.
Spray it on the grass to kill it. Be careful not to spray it on other vegetation because it will kill anything it touches. There is no need to saturate the soil, when just killing grass. The blades will absorb the liquid. If you don't want anything to grow in the area for a while, add a couple of tablespoons of salt to the container. Too much salt and nothing will grow in the area for a long time, but just a little will help kill what is there. It will last for several months.
