A moss with many uses, Irish moss presents itself as a lush, attractive and even nutritious plant. It adds beautiful accents to garden environments, provides cushioning for natural decor arrangements and adds flavor to healthy vegetarian recipes. Irish moss is rich in vitamins A, D, E, F and K and minerals calcium and potassium, according to Natural News.
Add 1 cup of fresh Irish moss to a mechanical juicer.
Add a whole apple, mango and orange, chopped, to the juicer.
Juice the ingredients thoroughly, catching the resulting liquid in a glass.
Add ice and honey to sweeten.
Line a small, low-profile basket with Irish moss. Fluff the moss up in the basket for a billowing effect.
Scatter an assortment of flower blossoms over the surface of the moss. Pretty blossoms include lavender, rose petals and orchid blooms.
Place a decorative figurine or other accent such as crystal gems, in the center of the moss-lined basket. The resulting centerpiece is a pretty accent to add to your spring decor.
