Whether you're a novice crafter or an expert in the hobby, creating beautiful flowers allows you the ability to create a variety of arrangements and crafts. Flowers can be made from several different types of crafting materials such as paper, glass and wire, so possibilities are virtually limitless when it comes to the crafts you can make. Creating beautiful flowers at home provides you with an enriching hobby that can be done alone or with your friends and family.
Tear a sheet of blue-purple tissue paper into small pieces. Roll each tiny piece of torn paper into a ball.
Dunk each paper ball into a bowl of melted beeswax and then spread them out on newspaper to dry. Optionally, adding a scented oil to the beeswax coats the paper in an aromatic fragrance.
Spray a green fuzzy pipe cleaner liberally with spray craft adhesive.
Roll the glue-covered pipe cleaner back and forth over the balled-up tissue paper. The tissue paper balls cling to the shaft of the pipe cleaner, creating a beautiful snapdragon flower.
Cut a 12-inch length of flexible wire from the roll.
Slip one end of the wire through the opening of a crystal bead. Loop the wire over the bead to create a single petal.
Rotate the wire and slip the free end through another bead. Slide the bead all the way down to the looped and beaded end.
Loop the wire again. This creates a sort of "bow" shape, with the length of the wire hanging down.
Slide the wire through another crystal bead and loop it again to create three touching loops. Wrap the excess wire around a green pipe cleaner to create a stem.
