The Knock Out Family of Roses features long-season bloomers that will provide fragrant flowers from spring until frost. They are disease-resistant and easy to care for, placing them among the most widely sold rose bushes in North America. Created by rose breeder Bill Radler, the Knock Out rose is hardy to USDA Zone 4.
Remove all mulch from around the Knock Out rose bush.
Place a soaker hose 1 foot away from the base of the rose bush, completely surrounding it. If you have more than one Knock Out rosebush, weave the soaker hose around each bush.
Cover the soaker hose with fresh mulch. Keep the mulch at least 2 inches away from the bark of the rose bush.
Water the Knock Out rose bush twice a week for one hour each time. If there is rain, adjust the watering schedule to once a week.
