Grubs are notorious for leaving patches of dead grass across your lawn. This happens when they munch on the grass roots for dinner. If you suspect grubs, you can dig up one of those dead patches of grass to look for the grubs. If you have grubs, you will see moon shaped grayish-white creatures. Once you spot these creatures to confirm their existence, you can begin your plan of attack.
Pour a gallon of water in your garden sprayer.
Add the neem oil. Neem oil is an all-natural insecticide that has the ability to kill grubs in the soil.
Mix the two ingredients together and place the top back on the garden sprayer.
Spray the areas of your lawn where you have seen grubs. Be liberal with the spray. It is OK to thoroughly wet the ground. Neem oil is safe to use around pets and small children.
Repeat the treatment one week later to be sure you got all of the grubs.
