How to Mix Ortho Garden Disease ControI for Fruit Trees


Fruit trees are susceptible to many different types of diseases. These include coryneum blight, alternaria fruit spot, stem end rot, peach leaf curl and leaf spot. If your fruit trees come down with any of these diseases, you will need to treat them with Ortho Max Garden Disease Control. This product is easy to use, but you want to make sure you mix it properly.

Step 1

Pour 3 3/4 tsp. Ortho Max Garden Disease Control in the bottom of a five gallon bucket. This product is a concentrate, so you don't need a lot of it.

Step 2

Add 4 gallons of water to the bucket. It should naturally mix up with the Ortho Max Disease Control as you pour it in, but you can give it a stir if you desire.

Step 3

Fill your garden sprayer with your fruit tree disease control solution.

Step 4

Use the garden sprayer to apply the solution to your fruit trees. The solution you made will cover 200 sq. ft. of space. If you need to cover 400 sq. ft. of space, just double the recipe.

Step 5

Reapply one or two more times, two weeks apart until you see improvement in your fruit trees.

Tips and Warnings

  • Wear long clothing when mixing this product to protect your skin. You should also wear a mask to protect your lungs and goggles to protect your eyes.
