How to Mix Weedmaster Herbicide

Overview

Weedmaster is a brand of herbicide that is used to kill weeds of various varieties. It is produced by the BASF Corporation. The main active ingredients in the Weedmaster herbicide are dicamba and 2,4-D. It is important that you apply the Weedmaster herbicide correctly, not only to make sure that it is effective in getting rid of your weeds, but also to ensure your own safety.

Step 1

Prepare for working with your Weedmaster herbicide by putting on a mask to protect your lungs and a pair of goggles to protect your eyes. You will also want to protect your skin by donning a pair of gloves, long-sleeved shirt, long pants and a pair of boots.

Step 2

Pour 5 gallons of water into your garden sprayer.

Step 3

Add 5 fluid oz. Weedmaster herbicide to the water in the sprayer. Mix the two together, and place the lid back on the garden sprayer.

Step 4

Spray liberally across the area of your lawn where you want to control the weeds.
