Many homeowners have cursed aloud the minute they spotted that tiny dot of yellow growing amid their green lawn. Dandelions can be one of the toughest weeds to deal with, which is why the Scotts Company makes several pesticides designed to kill them under their Ortho label. Which one you use depends a lot on where you plan on using. If using it on your lawn, you will need to know what type of grass it is before selecting a product. If you are using it in an area where you don't want any vegetation to grow, however, such as your driveway, you simply need to decide how long you want it to be effective.
